#25. We have talked about it, but this is the first time I have seen anyone using it.

#26. Ron 19 Boat heading for the Barn.

#27. Sailor working on Torpedo Tube.

#28. PT 235 in the background. Looks to be taken from a Motor Launch of some type.

Picture #32 was taken the morning of December 29th, 1944 at Treasury base after we had returned from patrol. The sailor with no hat is Ron 19 base torpedoman looking over the damage. I don't recognize the other guy but he is not one of our crew. We were operating with Ron 9 at the time and Commander Kelly came aboard to look at the damage. Last year I wrote an account of the action when this torpedo head was blown off. It is on page 21 of this message board.

Thanks CJ

Do you know what happened to PT 546 in this post. Seems the Bow was caved in. Was it a collision with another boat. Thanks for the post on picture #32. I am sure that was a scary time. Had that war head gone off. you might not be here on this message board today.
