Here are some PT308 related photos that are posted in the RON22 Display at Battleship Cove PT Museum. I took these back in June 2012.

Thanks Dick, I'm sure that was a pain in the butt.
Not cool trying to pass off faked-up PT images! Then there's this shot of PT 154 with a now you see him, now you don't crewman. I'm hoping someone knows the backstory:

WOW ! ! ! !
That is PhotoShop mastery, I wish I was half that good . . .
I would love to see the original photo from the bottom shot, like the second photo.
The craftsmanship with the shadows are excellent, even added slight shadows to the other guys to match the cloned mystery man. Evan small details like adding finger from the guys hands behind him - I’m impressed. The artist should have toned down the shadow line along the prime mystery man, it was probably fine for the photograph he was cloned from but too much for this scene.
I have done such photos, where I have removed bodies and/or added bodies, but it is a lot work. To make them as realistic as possible, a great deal of work and thought goes into it every composition, even more time.
A lot a people can do a half-ass job, like myself, but is one is a good.
Outstanding fine, Jeff. . . .

lol Dick, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Yah it's a pain to get a good edge even halfway decent, I used to play with photos also. Never to the extent of matching shadows though. I didn't notice the fingers, nice catch! Do you think that might be the original image?

It looks like the lettering on the boat was photoshop'd on these images. Am I wrong about that?

Jeff . . . .
Funny!
I believe the first photo is the original, with the following two being PhotoShop'd.
The subject is laying down in both photos - the only one laying down. Just doesn't make sense.
The shadows are identical, even though the crew has shuffled around in different positions except for the subject himself - same expression, same body position, same hand position, same cocked head position, same everything.
Nice photo editing, I have to say . . .

Dave . . . .
Both photos have been apparently modified, the first one more extensively. The second one is where the side of the boat was bodied (cleaned up). You can see specially around the boat's name. If you note the side is nice and uniform til about half way back where is naturally spotted and well used look.
