Second group of photo's showing the second fire to the area in September 2001.

# 101 September 3, 2001, a spectacular fire lights up the sky over Bayonne's Bergen Point, Monday night. The first report comes in at 8:00pm.

#102 Ladder Truck with Company 2 sets up a defensive position to try and protect the homes in the area. At this point, Building 21 is completely engulfed.

# 103 The day after the fire shows the massive steel beam construction of Building 21. Water and debris cover the main assembly floor.

# 104 This view shows the roof collaspe Despite the incredible heat, the original funnel lights still hand from the ceiling.

# 105 PT Boats in various assembly, would be parked here during the War. Now it is a total wreck. Fire Chief Thomas Lynch would not let firefighters into the building for fear of total collaspe.

# 106 This view from the back of Building 21, looking forward towards the large steel rollong doors.

# 107 Ladder Company 3, continues to pour water on the South side of Building 21.

#108 The day after the fire, the large front doors, although soot covered and the famous name, stand proudly as a memorial to all of the Men and Women who worked at Elco.
