While watching a documentary on PBS about Bill Donovan ( Head of the OSS ) I noticed a picture of him with some Navy people. When I backed up the DVR and slo-moed to the picture I was very surprised to see Donovan standing on a PT boat presumably with it's crew and then I noticed that the officer standing next to him was my father .He is standing to the left of Donovan in the pic and the Officer to the right of Donovan has a MTBRON 15 patch on his jacket .
I am not sure how to post it here so if you could enlighten me on how to down load it .... I will do so ...... maybe there are others on the crew that would be interested in the photo .
My Father was Lt William F Toohey

Got your email with the Photo attachment, I reworked the photo and replaced the image in the above "Gary Szot" Post.

Great photo, especially with your father - everybody looks cold and miserable.

Thanks - I didn't know how to change the picture to a jpeg file so it would be acceptable to photobucket.
