SET #4 - Elco 70 footers in Cuba.
PT-17 Listing to Starboard. Nothing in Kenney's report about this.
Another shot of PT-17 at the dock.

Hi ya Frank-
I just love those old shots of the 70 footers! Keep 'em comin'!
Do you know of any companies that produce a kit or hull configuration of the 70 footer in say 1/32 scale? I'd love to build a model of one and I'm sure other modelers out there would as well! It would make a very sweet radio controlled model with twin 550's, HMMMM!
Thanks again Frank!

Hey Frank,
Is that the first PT tender Niagra in the background in the third photo in Set #4 ("PT-18 at the dock in Cienfuegos, Cuba")?

Drew
Yes that is the USS NIAGRA in the background. Just a side note here, PT 18 clipped her Prop, shearing off a blade or two. In one ohoto you wil notice PT 18, with a group on her Stern. They were changing the prop...............

MicroGlass (www.microglass.net) produces a 1/32 scale fiberglass hull of the 77' boat. With a little surgery....

Greetings Al,
What are the chances of our friends at Bluejacket putting out a 77' or 70' PT? Also curious how the 80' Elco sold. I bought two of them myself.
