All;
GMMC Jack Duncan USN(Ret) RON 5 PT 62, PT 103, PT 318, made his final patrol at 0800 04 November 2024. He was 99 years old.

Jack and his wife Marlene, (aka M3 the Marvelous Miss Marlene!) were some of the best friends to PT658. Jack and family rode the boat every summer during Portland Rose Festival Fleet Week. We even had a PT Boat shaped birthday cake on board for him! He would regale the public with stories of past PT boat crews and their memories. Jack will be sorely missed on board PT658. He was a great man.

Here are some photos of when Jack and Marlene came up to celebrate his 90th Birthday in 2015. You can see the PT boat shaped birthday cake! Jack is also shown at the helm of the PT658 as wife Marlene sits on the spare 20mm gun barrel box forward of the charthouse. It was a great day!

Jack was such a great guy, always willing to help out us young guys
with the answers we asked of him. His wife Marlene was very nice as well. God Bless Jack.
