Topic: Hiddensee scrapped by Battleship Cove? |

I heard some really disappointing news today, about Hiddensee having been towed to scrap on October 6.
While wikipedia (I know, I know) seems to support this, the Battleship Cove website still shows Hiddensee as one of their ships.
Does anyone know what's going on?

Yes, they sent the Hiddensee to scrap. It was really in bad shape and they didn't/don't have the money to maintain it. I don't think they should have gotten it in the first place.

Thank you. That makes me sad. I wonder if they were able to salvage any of it before scrapping.
