Thanks Joe!
This is pretty cool to have this ability. I appreciate you doing the grunt work and letting us know the shortcut to the easy way!

Thanks, guys. I'm still a newby, but I like the things I discover when I follow curiosity.
A couple of things I've noticed so far.
I really like the new feature, where you can check a box to only see what is actually available online. No more opening up pages just to learn that you can't see what's on them.
What I am missing is the ability to filter by decade. Choosing 1939-1949, for example, made a lot of the other stuff go away, so I could focus on roughly wartime entries. Hopefully that finds its way onto the new site, at some point.
Most of the other filters seem to be about the same. On the down side, there is a "click to interact" hoop to jump through, which adds up when you're looking at multiple documents in one search result. Also, sometimes the searches just turn up blue or black screens and you only get a glimpse of a pic or document when you try to refresh. On the up side, the search results seem to come back quicker than they do on the main site.
One helpful thing I've learned is the ID is the same on both sites, so if you look up something in the beta version and want to see it in the old version instead, (or if the new site black screens you) you can copy the number after ID and place it into a standard catalog search, or alternatively highlight and remove " preview. " from the URL, and then access it the old way.

Both bring you to the same architectural drawings of the early 70' Elcos.
I'll post more as I discover it and/or as it changes. It looks like they're going to keep the old site up until the new site is fully ready.
