A couple of nice photos provided by Chuck Fowler. I think he got them from QM Bob Ketchum. Photo 1 shows PT-27 during speed trials at Puget Sound after being re-fitted at Olson & Winge Boat Yard. Photo 2 shows the crew of PT-27, QM Bob Ketchum is in the first row far left, and John Akin is far right 2cond up from the bottom. These are the only two I can identify.

That is John Akin wearing the white hat as the 20mm loader in the top photo. He pointed that out to me himself.

Another great photo Frank. Again more oddities in configuration; turret domes with an SO radar.
