Not to ignore or favor one boat over the other, I’m posting artwork created some time back for Jerry Gilmartin and the guys in Portland Oregon - PT 658. Like the artwork for PT 305, these images of the 658 are also 12” x 18” originals.
This project artwork, unlike the 305, was actually a surprise rather than a project. Back in 2009 I would periodically visit the old “Save the PT Boat” website and download hundreds of photos that were posted on various webpages and stored elsewhere on the website. With the collection of reference materials, such as the Higgins engineering purchased form HQ, and prints from the Higgins microfilm, and along with the photos downloaded, I organized a plan. This plan was to create a large display poster and a small illustrated booklet. After a year’s work, and just prior to starting the 305 project, the PT 658 materials were completed and I surprised Jerry and the gang with the first PT 658 poster and booklet. During the next couple of years with the modifications continuing with the 658, I continued updating the artwork and booklet. Below please find images of the most current artwork I have, it is very similar to the artwork I used back in 2014, when creating the updated booklet and their newer website for PT 658.

Beautiful work Dick, no other PT artwork shows and explains the interior layout better. Everything about them is superb, thank you very much.
