Got my reply from Italeri regarding the 109 kit.
Dear Mr. Woods,
thank you for contacting us. We would like to inform you that, as you already know, the model PT 109 is discontinued; this means that its production has been interrupted, and we don't know if there will be a reproduction of this article, but it is not excluded.
Duh!

There plan right now is to produce a late war PT-122. It will be based on the 109 release with lots of modifications.
