My uncle was a warrant officer aboard PT523.He was killed in the battle of Leyte Gulf on October 27 1944.

My cousin Lt. Robert W. Orrell was the skipper on PT 523. I have the crew list for that night.

This list was sent to me by Walt Kundis, Gunners Mate on PT524. Walt boarded the 523 after the attack to secure the lines for towing.
