Hi all,
I saw yesterday that Italeri is planning to release an early 80' Elco boat in late war configuration as PT-122. This set will include the standard Italeri PT Boat crew set. There are a lot of details unique to this boat and I've written my friends at Italeri to see if we can be of assistance. Some things that pop out immediately are...
1. Lower deck mount for the 40mm
2. Small 40mm ammo rack supplemented by 40mm canisters
3. No spray shield on aft 50 cal turret
4. Early 37mm on the bow which is different than what Italeri has produced in the past. Hope they get that one right!
5. There's something funky going on with the cockpit wind screen. But I only see it in one of the photos.
What else do you guys see on this particular boat?
