A person on Facebook today asked if there are joints on the shafts for alignment?

The propeller shaft is one continuous piece between the engine transmission output flange and the propeller. We do rough alignment with a string/ tight wire then we used laser alignment tool or basic dial indicator setup to align each shaft while turning it by hand.

Really glad Jerry chimed in, I was not much help, however I'm getting better at navigating the film rolls, even if I probably found the wrong ones for the question being asked.

Thanks Jerry! Do you have any cutaway drawings of the 77' Elcos?
