AHOY THERE EVERYBODY-

FIRST OF ALL, ONCE I GET OVER THE SHOCK OF SEEING THAT MY DAUGHTER IS NOW A MEMBER PT BOATERS MESSAGE BOARD, THANK YOU HONEY FOR POSTING THESE PICTURES FOR YOUR OL' MAN!!

THE PICTURES SHOW ONLY A FEW AREAS OF THIS VAST DIORAMA DISPLAY! LET ME GO INTO SOME DETAIL AS TO WHAT YOU WERE LOOKING AT!

THAT'S THE 176 LINDBERG PT 109 IN 1/32 SCALE SITTING IN A SCRATCH BUILT FLOATING DRY DOCK THAT ACTUALLY FLOATS!! THIS IS MY DAUGHTER MELISSA'S MODEL. SHE'S BE BUGGING THE DEVIL OUT OF ME TO GET THE MODEL FINISHED AND RADIO CONTROLLED! I GUESS NOW I'M OBLIGATED TO GET THAT MODEL WET FOR HER ASAP!!

IN THE OTHER PICTURE IS MY DOG FIGHT OVER THE DIORAMA THAT I PUT INTO MOTION! THAT'S A F4U CORSAIR AND A JAP ZERO GOING AT IT WITH THE ZERO GOING DOWN IN 10 X STEEL WOOL SIMULATED PAINTED FLAMES. YOU'LL NOTE THE PLEXIGLASS ROD AND WIRES. THE ROD IS ATTACHED TO A PORTION OF THE DIORAMA TO A BATTERY POWERED ROTISERRIE UNIT FOR A BAR-B-QUE GRILL THAT I PICK UP AT A GARAGE SALE FOR HALF A NEW BRAND NEW IN THE BOX. WHEN I BORUGHT IT HOME MY WIFE SAID WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO GRILL. WELL, WOULD YOU BELIEVE A JAP ZERO!

THE LAST SHOT SHOW THE DETAIL OF THE SICK BAY ON TULAGI. THE INTERIOR OF THIS STRUCTURE IS FULLY DETAILED INSIDE AND OUT! PLEASE NOTE THE LAUNDRY AREA AND WASH ON THE LINE!

THIS DISPLAY HAS TAKEN ME TEN YEARS TO GET THIS FAR! I HAVE SHOWN IT TO THOUSANDS OF FOLKS AND VETERANS ALIKE. IT WAS A LABOR OF LOVE FOR SURE!!

MODELER/FRIEND RON-10 PT-169 "ZEBRA SNAFU"

HIGH TIDES ALWAYS!

YOUR FRIEND THROUGH SCALE SHIP MODELING AND PT BOAT HISTORY!
