Does anyone have drawings or photos of the Huckins PT Boats?

Posted some stuff. Photos are either from PT Boat Inc or Huckins Yacht. Only 18 boats built, but there are a pile of variations. Which RON or boat are you interested in?

Lots more, but it's all part of a project I'm working on with Huckins Yacht and it's still in progress. Here is another drawing I did, this one of the interior arrangement. Are you looking to build a model? or just general research? I'm working on a 1/35 scale, and a view of my slow progress.

Phil,
If looking for info on a particular boat or squadron I would need to know which since the first 3 boats were different from the next 5, which differed from the next 4, which differed from the next 1, which differed from the next 1, which differed from the last 4. and that's just for their build configurations and doesn't take into account all the additional armament and structural changes that almost all the boats went through during their career. If looking for a general configuration for a generic "Huckins", there really isn't one.

Don't forget, four Huckins boats were used in the movie, They Were Expendable!

I have always thought, that the first Huckins boat look every bit like pleasure yachts! What I have read over the years, the men that trained on them thought they were great boats, at least in a non shooting situation. Apparently, they were very comfortable, in their ride, and the below deck accommodations.

Hey very nice drawings Andy thank you. And thanks for the cool images I haven't seen before. I like the turret canvas retention method Huckins used. The shot of the engines, what are the 2 pipes leading up from each engine used for?
I'm looking forward to seeing your finished model! And finding out what you are working on with Huckins.
