It took awhile going thru the forum, found this drawing of Todd City on Lumbaria Island posted about 10 years ago. Is anyone familiar with it? And does anyone have any idea what the highlighted area at the end of the jetty is. Best guess is a dock. However would be nice to know

It might be two pontoon sections or small barges to use as a floating pier. The only real good photo I know of this area is the bombed and sunk PT 164 photo.

Jeff thanks for the post read the articles, great stories, could not get any of the pics to open. Its always great hear the Vets tell their stories. Thank goodness for the forum keeping this irreplaceable part of history alive.

Yes Jeff, That’s the photo, however, now doing a real good look at this photo, it looks as if the landing craft has pushed the 164’s stern into the beach, may be just my interpretation.

Thanks Ted, I think your right on the floating dock, I'm trying to dig up some photos maybe Seabee sources of what one looked like , again thanks
