My dad was stationed on board PT 149 of RON 12. His was an ELCO boat same as the PT 109. I have purchased a model of the 109 but will put 149 lettering on her. My question is does anyone know the color scheme? I have heard gray or green hull. Hard to tell from all the black and white of the day.

I have a (rather fuzzy) bow-on color screen capture photo of an 80' Elco at sea that is purported to be the 149.
I will send it to Dick and ask him if he can post it on the Forum for everyone to see.

I ment to say 146 not 149. 146 was in Ron 12.😎😁

Thanks so much. Will reproduce on my model. My dad is in one of the shots. He a torpedo man 3rd class. Manned the forward 50. The stories he tolded me.😎😁
