Ted,
Thanks, I appreciate it.
Look forward to your 196, similar colour scheme then. It was the photo of her in late '44 that persuaded me to go with the hull camo (see the boat in the distance)
Best Regards,
Stu.

Stu;
Yes I see the boat in the background, but that is not 195, it is either another RON 12 boat or possibly from another RON.

Yikes!!!
I just noticed Stu, what are all those gas cans with not white stripe all around the boat? At Engine room hatch and beside port side of cockpit. Are you having the boys make Molotov cocktails for close in barge work???

Stu;
As I said your model is outstanding!! Too bad QM1/C Rosario "Russ" Pulano passed away in December 2011, He would have loved to see your model of his boat. Russ was the Quartermaster on PT 162(The Wicked Witch) RON 9 and PT 195 (Toodles) from May - Oct 1945.
QM 1/C Russ Pullano at the wheel of PT 195 RON 12 May-Oct 1945.
PT 195 RON 12 Russ Pullano on Depth Charge
PT195 RON 12 QM 1/C Russ Pullano and Charlie Santos man the 40MM.
PT 195 RON 12 Qm 1/C Rosario "Russ" Pullano and GM 3/C Calvin M. Johnson May- OCT 1945.
Russ Pullano(QM 1/C PT 162 RON 9 and PT 195 RON 12) and Jack Madden (PT 304 RON 22) July 21 2005.
By the way here is the scoreboard :
Take care,

Ted,
It's sad, we are losing all our veterans. Over here we lost our last battle of Britain pilot this week. A few years back i met one of the last surviving Tuskeegee pilots. It was an honour to speak with him and so interesting.
Yes, that is the photo that inspired the camo pattern. I suspected the boat in the background wasn't the 195 but reasoned that she would have looked similar at the time. . So i went with it. :-)
I have a photo of 195 with gas cans around the engine room hatch, 3 each side, they appear to be just painted green. I will check.
Thanks.
Ted, I checked the photo, the cans are definitely all green. You do have a point though LOL .
Best Regards,
Stu.
