Hi all,
This was updated on Eduard's web site today. This is the upgrade set for the latest Revell 1/72 PT-579 and 588. Overall an excellent set. There are a few odd things in there though. See what you can pick out.

The good, the bad, and the ugly. It should add some nice touches though.
Would anyone like some whine? They went crazy with the .50 cal. barrel jacket holes. No cradle rear assembly. No sides to the back support. No bottoms to the lower belt guides. No center to the cradle pivot.
You'll bump your head trying to get out of one of the open hatches.
Looks like even they had a problem rolling up the jackets:
Not much right here:

I think Eduard has pride in their products. They didn't ship the instrument panel. Hopefully they realized how bad it was.
Update... Oops! I take it back. I found it on the floor! It's worse in person. Strongly suggest sticking with the kit part.

Didn't take the company too long to come up with the photo etch. like the 30 and 40 gun parts. that's about all. Bet the photo etch is costly, to have many problems.

I noticed something the other day when I received this set. Note that Eduard changed the panel photo etch piece to correctly reflect that the throttle is on the right side of the instrument panel. I still don't think I would use it but hats off to Eduard for correcting their mistake.
