Hate to burst any bubbles, but not one U2 pilot or SR71 crew member ever received astronaut wings. In the U.S. you must fly above 50 miles to qualify. Officially the highest a Blackbird ever flew was 82,000 feet, unofficially, they have hit 87,000 feet, and U2s fly much lower. There are rumors, that at least one A12 Archangel (CIA single seat version of the SR71) flew up to 100,000 feet, still 164,000 feet to low! Eight X15 pilots did earn astronaut wings. Sorry

Good luck with your model, the 20 looks fine. looks like the metal ones I got from a dealer. Some were not so good formed. keep us posted Happy modeling.
