Thanks Jeff , I will go with the short mount, and frame mounted ammo box cradle
currently working on palm trees for Todd City , I see them in my sleep, the process seems endless being authentic, and a hopeful perfectionist is gong to be the end of me , the right result is worth it, but its a slowwwwwwwwwww process

Just shy of 2 years work, this my first attempt at the PT , I still have to trim out the edges , frame the box and build the case . My goal here was to depict a day in the life of the 105-boat moored at Todd City for minor repairs and resupply. Thanks to everyone for all your comments and support. I would especially like to thank Frank Andruss Sr, Ted Walther, Dave Maples, Stuart Hurley, Will Day , Jerry Gilmartin and to Jeff D for allowing me the privilege of joining the ELCONUTS , and most of all to men who servered on theses wonderful boats .

That came out well Mike! Lots of interesting action going on. Good job on the palm trees, I know they took a long time but I think they were worth it.
