From: Chris,

Hello. Quick question. I rode on this years ago and some said it is a modified PT boat. Can you tell me anything about it. Thank you.

Can you provide any more details such as name location etc? It is hard to tell from just a blurry photo. What length is it? What is the beam? What engines are inside of it? Who owns it? Maybe if we had this we may be able to look further into it. Thanks Jerry

The shape of the bow and the low spray rail tells me it COULD be a 77' Elco. Definitely not a 80' Elco or a Higgins.

All;
They are 72' and fibreglass. this was designed in the 1980's I was on one in Ocean City Maryland called the Sea Rocket in 1987. Sea Rocket had twin V-16 Lamborghini engines. My friend Brad Winegard was the Captain, Brad was a former SBU-12 SWCC who had gotten out of the Navy, on that day I talked him into joining my SBU-24 reserve unit. We have been DBG brothers ever since.He later joined me on active duty in Panama.
