Michael: I have a list of PT bases during the war, and a couple of pictures of 4 and 6. Send me your e-mail address.

Thanks to Will for the pics of MTB Bases,If i may can i please ask some more questions about my grandfather Cecil Eugene Sellers. On his separation papers under service it states that he was with MTB Four(USN 715) which i believe was code for Cairns Australia Then MTB Base 6 then Com.MTB Rons 7th Fleet then MTB Base 4 Dreyer Harbor and then he was on USS LST 45 & USS LST 452.Can someone Please explain to me what his role was,He was a MoMM3c(T) I think the (T) stands for Temporary War Promotion to Petty Officer? Also the LST's did they have anything to do with the PT's or were they just the ride home if you know what i mean.
Lots of Questions but you are the men with the answers i seek, otherwise great men in history will be forgotten and we all dont want that.
Yours Respectfully

Fm: Bill Manley,
Hello Michael, I seen your message and I looked up to see if your father was a PT boat crewmember and I found a Cecil Eugene Sellers that was a cremember on PT4, Ron 1. Maybe this might help.

Michael - Although there were several LST-type PT tenders, none of them started life as either of the two ships you mention.

Thanks Bill and Will,
Bill i just had a look in At Close Quarters and PT 4 was given to Britian in April 41 so i dont think it can be my Cecil as he didnt enlist till September 42 and went to the Pacific Thanks all the same.If you have access to crew lists his middle name is recorded as Emors and he went by the name of Eugene (Gene) Cheers,
