It sure does look like it could be Will. It also looks like it has the canvas wind scoop from the day cabin to the engine hatchway. Thanks for digging it up.

Will;
At sometime in late her life the Quad mount was removed. Here is a model originally made for Rex Anderson skipper of PT-156 from February to November 1944..

Notice 20mm on stern.

There are also some photos Wayne originally posted, maybe Dick can restore them:

Take care,

God bless you guys! I have been looking for this for years. T Garth Conn0ly helped me confirm that this was real. Now we have proof that what my father-in law did was real.

Per TEDS request which is going to cost him "big time" -
The link below has been updated with the lost photos . . . . I hope they help, but I'm not sure they will.

Hi all,

I know this is an old thread, and I hope I'm not out of line to resurrect it, but I saw this and thought it might be of some help.

MTB RON 9 - Rep of Act, PT-156 & PT-160 Night of 6/27-28/44

https://catalog.archives.gov/id/139740194

The third page (of 6) mentions the quad .50 stern mount being successful and effective vs barges.
