By way of introduction to this forum I thought I'd post a sample clip of a project currently underway. It will be some time, however, before I complete it. Other boats in que.

Gene very impressive, can we go to your site to view the entire boat as it looks at this phase of assembly. Can you provide the actual measurements of the boat.

You may indeed go to the site, although I have not posted this PT build there yet. My other work in Log format is, however. Just go to:

http://www.geneberger-models.com

I'll get back to this project as soon as I put one more in the pocket. If I don't finish it before getting back to the PT...I may never. But, it is in the que.

Frank,

Give me a day or so and I'll update the site with some of what I've accomplished so far on this boat. Rather than fill this forum with photos, it will give me the opportunity to organize and tell more of the story as I intended to do.

Beside, I haven't worked out all the innuendos of this forum to post photos yet.

Very nice Gene, I look forward to seeing your progress on this!

I went through your SS United States build, what an incredible amount of work! Did it ever make it to the water?

Please delete this duplicate post. I don't know how I managed to do this....

Well? The answer is yes and no. Here being ballasted.

As an aside, the PT was also being tested.

I'm thinking I may have to move this build up in sequence. It's much closer to finishing than the current build.

BTW, could you point me in the direction for instructions on posting photos?

Gene;
Thanks! That start up was so realistic it made the hair stand up on the back of my neck! Awesome!
Since I live 2 miles from Mount Trashmore I hope I can witness some of the shake down period.
Like Frank said watching this project progress and we look forward to the photos!
Take car,
TED

Thanks, Ted.

I didn't realize that you were so close. I am only across the river in Hampton. I would like to invite you over some time and show you what I'm up to. We should stay in touch.

Thanks Gene, I see you're still working on it judging by the date. Cool horn sound effect! Hope you have a lot of flotation in her, I used to use good quality water wings in my R/C boats. They are light and can be inflated to fit odd shaped areas.

Use the link at the top of the page to sign up to our gallery, out fearless leader Dick Washichek will get you set up. It's easy to use once you get the hang of it.
