One question, though. What are the silvery squares on the sheet below the U.S. flags supposed to represent?
And do you know when the new-tool 109 kit will be generally available here in the States, besides the Ebay source?

I think the squares are meant to represent the windscreen panels.

Thanks, Stu.
I thought they might be meant to represent the no-skid mat squares on the topsides of the charthouse and dayroom, but I think those were black, before (and if) they were painted over.
