Watching your progress and I have to compliment you on your powers of observation. You don't seem to miss anything. I thought I had skills in that department but you have caught quite a few details I missed. For example, the cutouts in the edge of Bofors mount to accommodate the mooring bitts. I will have to change mine now when I eventually get back on to it. Keep up the good work.

Best Regards,
Stu.

Thanks guys, getting words of appreciation from such skilled modelers and from Mr Elco himself is always source of great satisfaction.
Stu, I actually have quite an eye for detail and I'm spending a lot of time examining reference material. Recently I came to the conclusion that PT195 did have TWO 20mm ammo boxes on the foredeck at the time the quadmount was installed;I'm working on a mock up of a picture that will eventually demonstrate this, will post it as soon I am ready.
You once mentioned the diary of PT195, where did you get it?
Greetings

It was sent to me by a relative of a crew member.

Daniele,
I know what you are saying about the ammo lockers. We know there is one fore/aft forward of the quad but It looks like the one adjacent to the hatch may still be there on the very contrasty port bow shot at the jetty.
I will be interested to hear your ideas.

Best Regards,
Stu.

Stu and Daniele;

Stu you once asked what is that in front of the starboard forward torpedo in the photo of PT 195 underway with her mast down.
Well this is a guess but this photo might answer it. The boat across the water is PT 195 RON 12 BLACK AGNES. Notice .30 cal mounted on deck forward of starboard after torpedo. Also a twin .50 mounted forward. This shorty mount with a .30 or even a .50 may have been moved forward in the later photo.

Here is also a slightly earlier (1944) close up of the scoreboard, from Jeff's website:

This photo of PT 195 shows "object" forward of starboard forward torpedo.

Thanks Ted,
More rectification work. Part of the reason I paused the build was that more info keeps popping up.

Best Regards,
Stu.
