Thanks!

Hello,
There were three filler caps, 1 each port and starboard just aft of the bridge wing steps, and 1 in the cockpit just port of the centerline in front of the day cabin.
Have a look here:

Best Regards,

I have a photo (that I had on PB) of a crewman on Bill Skades PT143 actually pouring gas into the starboard fuel tank through a big funnel lined with cheesecloth. Standing by in the background is another crewman with a fire extinguisher. I would post it but I don't know how? I have the original copy on my home PC. Maybe when the new photo thing is up and running I can post it.
This image is being posted for Jerry - Dick . . . .

When photos are again able to be posted I will post an overhead view of my 1/20th Elco, the fuel fills are quite obvious.

They sort of surrounded the forward part of the day room cabin, 1 in front and 2 to the sides. If you're building a model and need locations, here's some measurements to the center of the caps:
The front one was offset from the boat center line 8 to the port, and was 5 1/2 forward of the day cabin.
The side caps were 66 outboard of the boat center line port and stbd, and about 20 1/2 aft of the front of the day cabin.
I took the measurements from this image: http://www.pt103.com/images/PT_Boat_Elco_103_Class_Day_Room_Cabin_Trunk_Gridded_Top.jpg. I forget if they apply to the late boats also.
