I hope I am not going too far off the PT Boat topics but I just found a great site for the casual clothing US sailors wore.

The Life Magazine photos were taken on Tarawa Atoll in the Gilbert Islands. They are much sharper (and in color) than the many photos I have seen previously. They will probably be very good for model PT Boat crew (figures) builders by combining the black and white PT photos (and the very few color photos) with these to get the colors right. They will be helpful to me in adding more figures to my 61 model.
