Hi all, I am new to this forum.I am trying to find any information about my father( Franklin S Hamilton). He served abord PT 382 , Ron 28 in the S Pacific area and later the Philippine Islands area during 1943-1945.
He was a Machinest Mate 2nd Class.
My Dad passed away last month at 94. He spoke very little about his service during the war. His picture appears in the 2011 calander issued by PT Boats Inc.On the back of the cover page are 4 photos taken during USO shows. He is in top right photo standing to the right of Carol Lombard, Aug. 1944.
Before his death, he joined a PT boat veterans group in Suffolk County, Long Island where he lived, however there were very few surviving members.
Any information, photos about my dad, his shipmates and the war patrols he participated in on PT 382 would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You,
Linda M.

Hello!
My Uncle was on PT-382 and in July 1944, he was severely injured, I think several men died. Does anyone have any info about this incident?
Thanks!
