I am building Revells PT -117 as launched. i want to fix the weird heater duct that is on the model. I have the PT-103 outline that shows the duct in a side views. I don't know if the duct was round or square.

Bob,
Which weird heater duct? Where's it located? The molded one on top of the rudder cables housing, leading into the boxy "heater" unit on the starboard side aft?

Yes, in the PT-103 outline they go up to the top of the box. Not so in the model.

Here's some details from Dick's drawings. The 117 used the throttle pushrod cover that ran along the outside of the day cabin as a duct:
The duct was rectangular:
At the top it was held on by 8 10-32 hex head bolts, at the bottom by 9 10-32 hex head bolts. That's a total of 17 bolts.
