	Working on my what if boat. Would the crew made ready boxes be covered in treated (painted) canvass or would they be uncovered (painted) wood? Jeff

Jeff;
Just curious, do you have any RON 27 (or any other Squadron)close up photos showing 40,mm boxes "coated" with painted canvass? This would be different. normally, the boxes were not "coated" with canvass, But if you have any photos showing field made boxes showing this, please post the photos.
