Hello,
I'm new here and wanted to say hello to everyone. Very interesting forum.
Since I have been reading a lot of the entries, I have gained more understanding of the love of the Devil Boats and the many people who served and serviced them.
I am now building a Higgins PT with Al REoss2 plans for the MK19 tubes.
Many thanks Al. The plans were what I've been looking for some some months now.
In the past I have built sever Dumas 109's and built a few 77ft. series 1 Elcos.
I have built several for old PT boaters many years ago.I only built the hulls and nothing else.
Now that I am retired, when my wife says I am, I have a new interest in all PTs.
With the modern tech such as shapeways, it is a lot easier to build a good looking boat.
Now my older boats wouldn't hold light to the many fine modelers I read about and see their work. Has to be the best anywhere around.
When I need info I hope to be able to call on this forum for help.
Once again thanks, Bill Reese

Welcome aboard. You will find some of the most knowledgeable people here in the USA today when it comes to the WWII PT BOATS. Good luck on your build.
