I hope their product is better than their ability to do some research. According to their web site, our favorite boat was sunk by an aircraft while attempting to launch a torpedo.

Thanks for pointing that out Larry. I didn't catch that confusing bit:
On the night of August 2, 1943, boat PT-109 was destroyed by Japanese aircraft. John F. Kennedy attempted to turn his ship starboard to aim the torpedoes, but there wasn’t enough time. The larger Japanese destroyer PT-109, splitting it in half.

NOT TO MENTION - -
The Chart House, well, the whole super structure looks like a Higgins. Well maybe in todays environment they simply wanted to be PC-Correct and not leave out the Higgins boats. After all it might hurt their feeling.
Jerry - No negative comment or suggestion on Higgins just a comical comment.
