Guys,

I found a website -- Getty Images -- which has numerous clips from "PT 109" which weren't included in the finished film.

There are a lot of long, fairly close-up side shots, both port and starboard, of the converted 85' Crash Boat marked "109" underway at sea, one of the "157" barely underway in the rescue scene, one of the "radar" boats," etc. -- much more than in the movie itself -- which are fun to watch, as well as other clips from the movie. You can toggle the clips to full screen.

Apparently, you can purchase these clips also. They have a watermark on them that I would think would be removed if purchased. It would be neat to have all the shots of the boat(s) at sea on a DVD. They'd make a great screen saver loop on a desktop.

The initial link I found, which leads you to all the others, is:

Drew;
You hit a nice little goldmine!!!!!Search PT BOAT I came up with a films of:
PT 125 or 126 RON 6 cruising alongside a cruiser or destroyer.
PT 157 RON 9 with Bud and Bob Kelly underway Rendova, Bridge will LOVE this film!!!!
RON 1 underway for Midway #1 , May 1942 (John Ford footage)
RON 1 at Midway 25 May-June 1 1942(John Ford footage)
RON 1 underway for Midway #2 May 1942(John Ford footage)
Two of RON 13 at Toboga which we have all seen before.
One about ELCO 70 testing
One about Elco and Higgins construction.
Two about John Bulkeley (showing a PTC RON 1 and MTB RON 2 emblems hanging in his family's apartment living room), and true to form, he gives credit to Bob Kelly and PT 34 for the Landing Craft engagement.

Search Motor Torpedo Boats and you will find a RON 9 film titled Shaky Sailor, Bob Kelly is seen on the bow of one boat looking a little frustrated)

then search Mosquito Boat and you will find a few more, including one of RON 2, newsreel footage we have seen
Take care,
TED

Ted,

Where are you searching PT BOAT to find all those? Getty Images? Google? I can't find any of those on either...
