Anyone want to guess what these ladies in Wisconsin are working on?

The story talks about US Plywood/Weldwood, and that the workers believed they made parts for the boat that evacuated MacArthur... and while that looks like a 77 footer trunk cabin, it sure doesn't fit with the images I've seen of 77 cabins being framed in Bayonne. Maybe an airplane fuselage? The US had very little wood usage in WW2 planes.

Weldwood did run a number of ads associating themselves with PTs...
