Here are the few photos I can find on Russian Lend Lease boats, there is very limited information. The photos are probably sitting in Russian Achieves or former crewmembers attics, etc. According to the write ups I have read, Higgins and Vosper boats had all the action(of the American lend lease boats), apparently the ELCO's arrived too late to really be of value, but they were also the ones that lasted the longest, from what I can find, no Higgins PT's were returned to the USN, but ELCO's and Vospers were in July 1955 at Bremerhaven Germany.

Can someone make photos visible? Upload to another photosite for example.

There is no magic wand I can wave ! ! ! ! But I'll see what I can do, to make these appear again in the post. But I'll have to find them first re-upload, and then re-embed them into the original post. Check back a little later. . . .

SORRY FOR THE DELAY
Finally found the photos re-uploaded and embed into Ted's original post.

The Vosper listed as TKA428 is PT428. TKA428 was ex-PT502, an 80' ELCO. My Russian language source didn't list PT428, but did show 429 as TK 560, and 433 as TK564, so 428 may have been in the 560 or 570 range.

Seems as though Photobucket had a change of heart. Now 50gb, 3rd party hosting, unlimited sharing, add free is $5.83 per month. 2TB $10.33 per month. How would you like to have been the poor guys that laid out $500 when they held everyone hostage for image hosting? Or, lose all your photos and hear "come on back, we were just kidding!"

I had heard that those decision makers are no longer with the company. Not sure if that's true or not. But I'm not going back.
