I've just finished two new books recently added to my library and, while the old hands here will be familiar with them, I thought I'd make the newer members aware of them.

More detailed information can be found on the amazon.com website, including reviews, here:

His second book is:

...and the amazon.com site for it also carries more information and reviews here:
http://www.amazon.com/First-Up-Chronicles-Rendova-July-August/dp/0615579124/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1457964271&sr=1-1&keywords=pt-157

Both are interesting and I'm glad to have them, although one could wish for more aggressive editing.

Cheers!

I agree, Will. Even if a modeler isn't planning on building the 1/30 Dumas kit I think there is a lot to be learned from Bridge's approach to various challenges that are transferable to other kits and other scales.

As for the First-Up book, one has to admire the lengths he went to in his primary research at NARA and in interviews of the two surviving crew members.

Cheers!
