I just received all the 3D Printed parts from PT103.com and now I am stuck trying to figure out how to remove the Throttle Push Rod Deck Housings from the 1/35th scale Italeri PT109 kit so I can replace them with the 3D Printed parts.

Hi Capt, these parts are a bit of a pain to install. From the SW page:

This part replaces the throttle push rod deck housing on the Italeri 1/35th scale PT 109 kit. The cast in housing must be trimmed off and engine hatch modified to use this part. The kit incorrectly locates the coamings along the engine hatch too far inboard. The outboard coaming faces should be flush with the sides of the day room cabin. The aft torpedo tubes must also be moved to the correct location, this affects the position of the humped housing section and the tube's forward mounting pad that slides under it a bit.

Be really careful with the throttle, the levers are very easy to break. Dave Waples, who has helped me a great deal with developing these parts, says even gentle brushing can break them off.

Thanks for the quick response. I really like the results of your 3D printing. Thanks for the heads up on the Throttles.
