According to navsource, pt-613 is believed to be a museum craft in Korea.
Is there anyone with confirmation of this, such as pictures or anything.
I had thought most(if not all) the Elcos in Korea were destroyed.

That's is true.
It would be interesting if Korea did have a floating elco though(or at least on land as a monument),

Hi Nic,
I have been to Korea several times and I suspect that somebody is mixing up a part of the a PT Boat with the entire boat. At the Korean War Museum, which is a major museum in Seoul, there is an outside display of a Mk50 Rocket Launcher that likely was mounted on one of the 4 Elco PT Boats sold to the South Koreans during the War. I found some photos of it posted below. Perhaps somebody saw this display a long time ago and after retelling the story several times it got exaggerated in the retelling from a single Rocket Launcher into "Oh yeah, they have a PT Boat on display in Korea" Just a thought.

PT 619 is the only one to make it out of South Korea, and back to the good old U.S.A. I would not be surprised if that MK 50 is the Starboard side mount from 619. Too bad she could not be restored.
