Has there been any restoration done on pt-486 recently?
Are there current plans going to bring this ship to its original elco configuration?
If anyone has pictures of anything that has to do with pt-486, I would appreciate it if you post them here.
Best regards

I had a good conversation with Mr Iannucci yesterday. A team needs to be assembled and a meeting should take place soon.

Is there a group that is interested in pt-615 as well?
We could use more than one elco.
If so she does seem to be in semi good condition, not sure about the inside though.
I believe Clark gable owned the boat for a while, as well as pt-459.

When you really think about it, building a new charthouse and deck parts may be not be that hard considering there are loads of elco blueprints, for example pt-103.com

Nic,
You should talk to Frank Andruss. He is working with the owner of both PT486 and PT615 of "Fleet Obsolete" Rob Ianucci up in Kingston NY and has more up to date info on all of Ianuccis PT Boats and relative plans for their eventual restoration.

I spoke with Rob recently and Tim as well. There is a ton to talk about to organize etc and so on. I am still trying to see when a meeting is doable. Everything from funds to a 501 c 3 being sure the boat(S) are safe etc.....
