In an earlier post I mentioned three surviving pt boat being used as your boats in Argentina, which of brought over would make great museum pieces or ocean going pt boat in original configuration.
They are ciudad de mar de plata
Don luis(sunk in shallow water)
Leonardo da Vinci
All are in good shape and can be found by searching for mar de plata pt boats on Google.
All seem to have sections of their original chart houses as well.
There is also a Higgins on land called arra towwora, but it has apparently been stripped out on the inside, though it's chart house and guns are present.
If anyone knows their original pt boat numbers it would be appreciated.
I will try to put up links to the sites in the next day or two.

The P-82 ARA Towara ll is 78'Higgins Ex PT 801 which was laid down on June 22, 1945, but the US Navy contract was cancelled. Higgins completed the boat anyway. The boat was later sold to the Argentine Navy with Nine other boats, which were probably of the same "block" of boats, PT 797- PT 808. Named L1 to L10, later redesignated P-80 to P-89.

Thanks man, I really appreciate the info, I had though that the 800 or so number boats were canceled, at least that's what I read, but it makes sense.
Thanks.
