I found a video on YouTube recently that toured malihini, and it had more of its original pt boat parts, way more than I expected.
The original chart house is still present, as well as its interior.
The spot where the helm used to be is now a kitchen, the spot where the captains wheel and control panels are still there, though a booth sits in front of them now.
The boat is now in fact steered from the top section, and though greatly modified since it was sold in the late 1940s still retains most of its original pt parts.
If the boat was ever acquired to be restored no doubt the chart house being present would keep it more original and would eliminate the need to build a new one.
Even though he doesn't go to the crews quarters in the video, I would hope it's not changed much, but being a fishing boat, who knows.
I will put the video link on here for those curious.
Let me know what you guys think of this.

she is a cool boat. In good order too for charter. She is powered by three John Deer marine motors.

Definitely if ever sold, it would make for a good restored boat that's for sure, I mean the original chart house and helm in good condition would make it even more original.
