Thanks, guys. John was a neat guy and outstanding researcher. I hope to get something going to ensure that his material is preserved and made availiable.

Hi Al,

Really sorry to hear of the passing of John Lambert. I know he was very special friend to you and many others.

I had no personal connection to Mr. Lambert, but I'm well familiar with his plan drawings of ships and boats, particularly his Flower class corvettes.

Even based solely on his drawings, the world is poorer for his loss. Very sorry to hear.

Allied Coastal Forces Volume II is one of my treasured books in my nautical library, written by two stalwarts who have given so much to the rest of us.

Cheers!

Bob;
I second that!!! The amount of time, energy, and research done by Al and John is astounding, but again, it really isn't work when you love what your doing. Thank you John and Al.

Hi Al,
My deepest condolence about the passing of your friend and co-author of ALLIED COASTAL
FORCES VOL. II. Although I don’t known him in person, I always consider your book the
no. 1 bar none and the best in the business.
Victor
