I have 3 pictures of RON23 PT277 crew, 1 at sea and 2 ashore, and I'd like to know how to post these pictures in the hope that forum readers may be able to help identify some of the sailors. I also have a couple of pictures from PT Boats reunions that my father and mother attended many years ago that I'd like to post also. Thanks, Rick

Okay, thanks Gary. I watch Dick's youtube tutorial, so I'll give it a try now.
Here is the first photo, of the 15-member crew of PT277 at sea.
The writing on the back of the photo: "Here we are underway in the breeze. Joe. X"

Okay it did the slide show thing, so I'll try again.
The "you" guy is my father, and the "me' guy is "Joe".

Here is the 2nd photo.
Writing on the front right top of the photo: "Invasion of Philippines"
The writing on the back of the photo: "This is part of our crew in full dress HA. You can see how tired we were when a guy had to fall asleep when his picture was taken HA."
The "you" guy again is my father and the "me" guy is "Joe X".

And here is the 3rd photo.
This "Remember When" photo was stapled to a stock photo of the USS Cyrene. In December 1945 after being assigned to RON40 for a couple of days, my father was assigned to the Cyrene, which left Samar, Philippines on 21 December 1945 and returned to San Francisco on 7 January 1946. Joe apparently meant to send this photo to the "you" guy since Joe wrote my father's name above my father.
In a letter to my mother after my father died in July 1986, Joseph Aloysius Turnbull from Pittsburgh PA stated that my father was one of his best friends and a "PT buddy," but this Joe was a GM2C assigned to RON9. In this letter he made reference to Jesse Douglas Dunn, from Rochester NY, who was also a GM2C in RON9.

Thanks for sharing Rick. Hopefully a few of the members will recognize the faces and put names to some of the other crewmen.

Great pictures - And yet another PT Boat crew whose average age can't be 20. Amazing what these young men and their equally young Officers accomplished. Hats off to them all.
Thank you for posting them. Someday, someone will be doing a web search and will find his/her relative in your pictures They WILL be excited, trust me on that. Nothing like a "discovery" to create a memorable connection with the past.

Yea, great photos Rick. I have a Ron 23 roster, from the Archives II in College Park, MD, that has John J. Mosko listed. It is the Ron roster from September 1945.
My Dad was there at that time on the 286.

Thanks for the feedback/information guys. I found the name of somebody else who apparently served on PT277 from the following link:
http://www.seabees93.net/GI%20Green%20Island%206th%20ED.htm
"Squadron 23 boat names":
277 Knightmare [Stuart Walsdorf accounts]
So I was able to find the following information about him:
“Bud” Stuart Charles Walsdorf (1921-1987), MTB RON23 1943-1945, RM3C-RM2C-RM1C, buried in Dallas Texas, from Thorp township in Wisconsin. Served from June 1943 to March 1945 in the the South Pacific. Enlisted 8-8-1942. Reported to RON23 on 6-28-1943. Promotion to RM1C per BuPers Orders C/L 297-44 dated 3-28-1945, and transfer to MTBSTC Melville, RI per ComSerFor7thFlt STO No. P-636-45 dated 3-28-1945.
