Here's another batch of photos (I have one additional batch to post after this):

PT548-16: Bill Clements (Bosun’s Mate) possibly standing next to the port twin 50 caliber gun turret. Not sure whether the ship in the background is a PT tender or some other warship.

PT548-17: Bill Clements (Bosun’s Mate) possibly with several Philippine girls. The girls look to me to be more likely to be Philippine rather than Solomon Islander, which was the other theater my father saw action in.

PT548-18: Bill Clements (Bosun’s Mate) possibly with Charley Coffey (MoMac) in background with binoculars.

PT548-19: Left to Right = Bill Clements (Bosun’s Mate), local Philippine girl and Fred Hallbom (Cook). This and the next seven photos are most likely from the Philippines.

PT548-21: Left to Right = Bill Clements (Bosun’s Mate), dead bat and Paul Hutton (MoMac).

PT548-23: Left to Right = Bill Clements (Bosun’s Mate), “Gyro” the parrot on my father’s shoulder and Jerry Beardsley (Radioman). Dad said he traded some natives for the parrot.

PT548-24: Left to Right = Bill Clements (Bosun’s Mate) and Jerry Bender (no rank, not sure of name or spelling).

PT548-25: Left to Right = Bill Clements (Bosun’s Mate), “Gyro” the parrot on my father’s shoulder and Jerry Bender (no rank, not sure of name or spelling).

PT548-26: Left to Right = Bill Clements (Bosun’s Mate), Jerry Bender (no rank, not sure of name or spelling), Jerry Beardsley (Radioman) and an unidentified sailor kneeling in front with “Gyro” the parrot his finger.

Dan;
Thanks again for sharing. Several years ago, someone build a model of PT 548 RON 28 "DEVIL's DOZEN" , and it was in the PTHQ newspaper back in the 1990's. I will have to look it up.
Take care,
TED
