Frank - I'm waiting until you get the museum built. I don't trust the boat in your basement.

No he's not Jeff. Hey Frank, what scale is that. I'm thinking is 1/20th or 1/24th.
But, if it's 1/35th, why not donate it to my What If Reunion Exhibit. I have plenty of dock space left !! But you better hurry, they will be filling up fast. |

Roy, I was ready to donate the 61 boat to your cause and then I forgot that it was 1:24 scale. Oh well maybe next time. Will might have a few 1:35 licking around in boxes, he doesn't build them, lol.

This really whets my appetite for an Italeri 1/35th scale second-series Elco 77-footer -- with additional parts to make a PT 59/60/61 gunboat...

I'm with Drew on this. Where are the 1/35, 1/72 and for that matter 1/48 scale 77 footers?

Mike,
I've dreamed of a Revell 1/72nd-scale 77' Elco for years, to go along with their classic 80' Elco kit...

Drew, it is pretty astonishing that we have no Higgins 78 or Elco 77, in 1/72 scale at least. Both of these show up consistently in surveys of modelers most wanted kits.
