When PT boat people talked to each other during World War II, do you know if they usually referred to a PT boat, the 157, for example, as PT "One-Fifty-Seven" or PT One-Five-Seven"?

And speaking of pronunciations, for the audiobook version of my forthcoming book, it would be very helpful if you could post any guidance on the correct phonetic pronunciations of these names:
Lt. Comm. John D. Bulkeley
Robert J. Bulkley

End of list: Dick Keresey, Jr., Leonard Nikoloric, Leon Drawdy, Peter Tares, Edmund Drewitch. Any guidance you can offer on correct pronunciations will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

As I mentioned Bill, Squadron Commanders knew which boats were in their squadrons. There would be no need for them to say "Take PT such and such on patrol. It would simply be the boats number...........

I always thought they'd have referred to their own boat as "the boat," and others by the boat number, such as "the 157," or maybe "the 157 boat," like they did in "They Were Expendable."

Drew;
True that! My boat, our Boat, The Boat and every other boat was a number.
Take care,
TED
