The mushroom vents on 80' Elcos:
I didn't find a drawing specifying deck placement so I used a scaled deck arrangement drawing. As far as I can tell from other deck arrangement drawings, they were in the same location on all 80' boats. I didn't have a 565-624 drawing to check though.

They were small deck vents Drew, here's a shot of one open a bit:
You can see one under the torpedo tube in this shot:
